Hong Kong... Suddenly feels so familiar. 6 days of memories, which I'll treasure. The greatest difference between a tour and a bi-cultural is the homestay and the hosts. Being able to be with your friends on a bi-cultural trip is great, but the most memorable gain was the time you spend with a new found friend.

It does bring me out of my comfort zone, and awkwardness are almost unavoidable during homestay. Staying with someone you just known on the day itself isn't so simple. Hosting someone you just known on the day itself isn't so simple too. The initial feelings of being a strager faded quickly though, especially through the warm welcome and hospitability by the host family.

The 5 nights that I've spent there, every night was just as warm under the blanket. A cheery greeting in the morning, the route to STMC, the bus rides back. All these sort of became a routine within days.

6 days past quickly. Too quickly. Everything has an end. Bidding farewell was inevitable too. Its my second bi-cultural, but the same feeling. The good thing is, we're likely to see our buddies next year still =) Pls come!

Lessons at STMC (3E) was fun ;D The lessons were pretty interactive :] Missing my buddy still...

2nd Day in Hong Kong! Getting used to the cold (at least a little, I think) =) Hehe. Quite nice to feel natural air-con FOC and everywhere you go! Been to quite a few places today. Had a great time there though a bit blur blur since I can't really recall all the places very well XD

Gonna go out with my host tomorrow! Not sure where we're going yet though... Singapore and Hong Kong IS alike. In terms of technology and all, its almost on par! One difference is ours is MRT, theirs is MTR? =X

My buddy is like super sweet and considerate. Think she's quite matured for her age =) She has a super cute sister too! (Knows how to sing Heads and Shoulders Knees and Toes) Can't go with the youth fellowship to watch 2012 tomorrow but oh well... Still, have fun to those who are going!

Check back for more updates tomorrow, folks! I'll remember the story, Mr Lee! XD

Am in Hong Kong now! Supposed to be blogging for the school and for Mdm Liew to view but I'm not sure how to go in... Or how to blog at the site! So decided to blog here first!

The plane ride was fun =) Not too long too. After which we alighted and went to Shatin Methodist school. After all the warm welcome and the cold cold wind, here I am at my Host's house!

The family is really nice ;D Realised that Singapore and Hong Kong are somewhat similar. The public transport (mrt, double-decked bus) and all are alike. Haven't really seen Hong Kong yet so I can't exactly state the difference as of yet besides the scenic view that Singapore will never have (since Singapore's most 'scenic view' is... Bukit Timah hill? XD)

Going to go around Hong Kong tomorrow to take videos and all, think its gonna be an eye opener for me indeed! Gonna chat with buddy later since I'm sleeping in the same room as her :]

Thats all for now! =)

Today was fun! Seriously. Went out with Dawn, Kayying, Xiu Wei & Hardi after Church today and went gift shopping. After that joined Mr Tang and Kelvin for dinner =) Me and Dawn got lost today! Ahhhhhhh~ lol... MPH bookstore was nice ;D Hehe. Ok, this was what we actually did:

Hardi, Kayying & Xiu Wei went down escalator to MRT. Me and Dawn ran up to the 2nd floor. Stayed in MPH bookstore (or whatever the name was), then went toilet (the stalls were pink and don't have signs!). After that we went outside and walked to duno what Novena Medical Centre. We were laughing there like siao liddat and the security guard was staring at us XD After that we decided to stop playing so went back to LJS :)

Dawn was like super hot after that la! I think her body temperature is like 38 degree Celcius. Even after dinner still haven't cool down. Dawn always so HOT de! Go Hong Kong cold then I hug her can liao! She can become my hot water bottle! =)

Many thanks to Mr Tang for dinner tonight! And how can a King Kong/Panda just sit down and cry when we get lost! Cannot liddat de! XD

Btw, if I really like a guy, I wun sms him and tell him I like him. Seriously.

I'll give you a reply, just give me a few more days...

Reviving my blog... Super lazy to post so yeah... Oh well, bridging's finally over! =) Like yipeeee! Had flag day today with Vivian and Yu Hui ;D Went to Chinatown there. Think its quite fun after all! Bubbletea never tasted quite so nice as it did after flag day!

Going to Hong Kong in 5 days time! Super excited over it! *Jumps up and down* Looking forward to it =) Chatted with my buddy over msn le! Its gonna be 6 days there only though. Haizz.

Btw, gratz to all seniors & friends who took O levels! Its finally over! Great job! =]

Thinking back about the past year and realised that I've screwed up a lot of stuff. This year was really eventful, and I think I've changed a lot from last year. Positive or negative change? I don't know. Dun wanna think of next year.
