Back from SLB camp! Its a whole new experience for me as a camp comm. member. It's really really fun! Only thing was, no wet activities (waste water) and coporal punishment issued by MOE or something and we couldn't carry them out. Made the camp more of a bonding camp and much lesser on the discipline side.
There's so much things that went on - happy, sad, stressed, enjoyable. Overall just hope that everyone DID get to know each other better and learnt something from the camp. Slept for 12h for the whole of the 4 day 3 nights! After which went home and promptly slept straight for 13h 45 min. Hahas.
To SLB June Camp Camp Comm : Great job everyone! It was great working with you all despite all the hiccups along the way! Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
1 thing left a deep impression with me. Something the seniors shared. I've realised that at this point in time, alot of us are undergoing a lot of things. Responsibilities to carry out, targets to fulfil and much more. So much so that at some point in time, we simply want to let go of everything and give up.
Families, friends, schoolwork, CCA - all these commitments just keep piling. Be it bad time management, stress, or simply increasing workload, you seem to be unable to breathe, unable to enjoy or relax.
1 thing for sure though, we are not alone. We are all in this and we are all going through the same things. We all feel stressed, we all feel tired. Its been alot and you feel as if life's been dealing you alot. Stand firm, stand together and we'll get through everything together.
My world's been in a bit of a mess too. All the unsettled stuff, I duno where to start and I totally dun feel like starting. However, the longer I drag, the worse the things get. Without Lord Jesus, I wouldn't know what state I'll be in now.
Nonetheless, Lord Jesus never fails to be by my side everytime. Recently I've been feeling this urge and need for Him. I know that I need Him, for everything. To rely on Him and to let him lead my heart, mind and soul. The knowledge that everything will be in control under him - that's reassuring. When I can't take it anymore, He takes everything away from me. Thats how great he is.
I'll stand by the Lord, my savoiur, Jesus Christ and I'll pull through. I'll love Him with all my heart, my soul and my mind.
